Jersey Tomato Sticker

Fight about the tomato being a fruit or a vegetable (technically a fruit, but considered a vegetable) with the Jersey Tomato bumper sticker designed by Tiffanie Tran for our 2017 Fundraising Marathon.

"In what The New York Times described as a 'food fight', Assembly Member Clare Farragher argued in 2003 that the tomato has a strong historical association with the Garden State and that 'the Jersey tomato does have a unique taste' that derives from the characteristics of the soil on the Atlantic coast. Legislation ultimately passed in 2003 establishing the blueberry as New Jersey's official state fruit. Sorry Jersey Tomato! You are still a winner at WFMU though."
